Puppy love for this old 1973 chart?

Yes I know 'Puppy Love' is Donny Osmond not David Cassidy, but the
Osmonds are in this chart anyway so it sort of counts.
Anyway, it's a round 20 years before the 1993 chart I did last week and
it's happier times for some of the acts who weren't doing so well in
1974 - although Slade have spelt their song title correctly, so maybe
that was the beginning of the end.
Quite a few people are in here twice, and there's also a rerelease of a
song that was originally banned by the BBC.

Playlists are here. On Spotify, I have allowed my pedantry to overtake
my taste, so it's the long version of Bryan Ferry and the shorter edits
of the Isleys and Eddie Kendricks.

2. (2) Simon Park Orchestra Eye Level
Theme tune to pretty much the only detective series my Dad didn't like.
17. (18) Max Bygraves Deck of Cards
Give me Max Boyce's version anyday. Although you probably need to be a
Welsh rugby fan to get the in-jokes.
42. (44) Peters And Lee Welcome Home
Reminds me, where's my crisps...

I don't think I've ever watched a whole episode of it, though of course
I know the tune.
I seem to recall there was a remake a few years ago which I didn't watch
either.

I'd guess so. It is ripe for parody.
